Date of Birth - 8th November 1998 - 24 years old

Hard to believe that I first purchased mafoo.com 20 years ago. It was in the days where you could purchase the domain and not pay for it 90 days. Those days still exist but it’s few and far between (they exist in Switzerland at least). I have no idea how much I paid for a years registration back in 1998 (may have been $150USD) but it was expensive in comparison to what we pay today.

So why no website anymore you ask? Well over the years I’ve gone through phases with mafoo.com. My first website was really just a webcam (why didn’t I get on the YouTube -just look how bad they are- band wagon way back then?), it then became a very simple blog, then a Wordpress blog and a few things in between. I think at one point it was even a business website. Now I use the domain for email, however I do have plans to reinvent it at some point.

After loosing most of my blog posts, I’ve desperately been trying to find them. Once I do, I will probably upload them all again and ensure they are backed up more than they used to be. Aghh.
